Join us for an early fall botanical workshop in SE Portland, Sellwood Neighborhood, celebrating creativity, nature and the art of adornment.

We’ll begin with a three hour hands on workshop led by Françoise Weeks, who will guide you in creating a one-of-a-kind woodland botanical fascinator using striking pieces of bark, foliage, flowers and unexpected natural textures. You’ll learn from her signature techniques and mechanics, with an opportunity to forage fresh flowers, greens and botanical treasures from the hosts’ garden to incorporate into your piece.

Following the workshop, we’ll settle in for a vibrant seasonal feast created by Chris Timberlake. Drawing inspiration from Mediterranean flavors and beyond. Chris will bring together beautiful seasonal produce, fresh herbs, bright citrus and layers of texture and flavor in her signature artful style. The meal will feature a seasonal fish entrée, with vegetarian and chicken options also available. A seasonal cocktail, thoughtfully paired wines and something sweet will round out the evening.

Join us for a playful afternoon designing a fresh floral crown for your pup - simple, textural, and just the right amount of fluff.

• Learn how to create a lightweight, wearable floral crown

• Work with hardy, pet-friendly blooms and greens

• Design a custom piece sized for your dog

Well-behaved pups are welcome to join, or you’re welcome to create and surprise them at home.

Join us for an afternoon of floral play with materials made to last. We’ll work with a mix of dried flowers, grasses, seed heads, pods, and other seasonal bits to create a textual wreath that feels wild and completely your own.

I’ll walk you through the mechanics, and design basic, then turn you loose to play. Go full and abundant, keep it simple and asymmetrical, or land somewhere in between.

There’s something especially beautiful about designing with what winter gives us.

Join us for a cozy afternoon in the studio exploring an Ikenbana - inspired approach to floral design - playing with winter branches, seasonal blooms, line, movement and a little breathing room.

Choose from a collection of handmade vessels created by a local ceramic artist, then design a winter arrangement that’s beautifully your own.

Vessel, flowers, instruction, tea + snacks are all included.

Join us for a Mother’s Day flower crown workshop and create your own wearable floral design using fresh, seasonal blooms. It’s a relaxed, creative experience - perfect for a girls’ night, time with your mom, or an afternoon spent making something beautiful together.

Spend a late September afternoon surrounded by flowers, color, and a little creative play.

Local artist and art teacher Anna Noel will lead a relaxed watercolor workshop inspired by seasonal flowers - think dahlias, zinnias, and whatever else is showing off in the garden. Petite floral arrangements will fill the table, giving us plenty of beautiful garden-grown inspiration to paint from.

No painting experience needed. This is meant to be approachable, creative, and fun - a chance to slow down, play with color, and see flowers through a slightly different lens.

All watercolor materials are included, along with light nibbles and a beverage or two.
